Initiate purchase orders for materials and parts used for Engineering Department product evaluations.
Coordinate the transfer, shipping and storage of products between suppliers and Company staff.
Record status of material transfers in Company database.
Research and evaluate automotive products for operational and aesthetic acceptability.
Document product test results and findings.
Communicate with buyers, suppliers and other departments.
Update files or records in multiple systems to concisely reflect status of products and evaluation. Salary range for this position: $55,000- 65,000The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors. Requirements:
Minimum HS diploma, prefer AAS degree in automotive, mechanical, or electrical technology.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with good documentation skills.
Ability to work on multiple assignments in parallel.
General knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred:
Experience in automotive part sales or repair industry.
Understanding of automotive systems and replacement parts.
Experience with ordering materials and inventory control.
