Job Description and Responsibilities:

The Customer Collaboration Coordinator will oversee/manage and maintain DC replenishment activity for VMI assigned customer groups to ensure a smooth inventory flow that enables the company to meet its sales, inventory turn goals, and profitability. This position will be a primary contact for customer collaboration with major accounts; provide, manage, and utilize customer supplied data. Will provide forecasting support for demand planning group; maintain offline forecast data files and supply forecast analysis as requested for forecast improvement. Will work closely with different departments to ensure that forecasts are updated to reflect customer changes. Will be responsible for providing interim updates to the Logility system between month end closings.  

Specific Duties include:

  • Effectively utilize Logility Software for demand planning to ensure forecast accuracy.
  • Coordinate with customer base for forecast and data related requests.
  • Build a good working relationship with customer's purchasing/forecasting/planning team.
  • Utilize collaborative processes to consolidate and interpret customer data to provide forecast support and guidance to the Demand Planning Group.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure customer forecast changes are implemented.
  • Notify the Demand Planning Group and Business Units of all major customer actions/changes that could impact forecast.
  • Establish a working relationship and communication channel with our Category and Product management groups.
  • Issue weekly customer service metrics for internal and external distribution.
  • Other related duties as required.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • 2-3 years’ demand planning experience (preferred)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent oral/written communications skills.
  • Ability to multitask; strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Customer Service, VMI, & Planning experience a plus.
  • Prior Logility Demand Planning experience and/or SQL skills a plus
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently with minimal supervision
