The Content Manager is a key member for the Marketing Services Team reporting to the Associate Director, Engine Management. This individual will work closely with the in-house creative team and other key departments. The CM will support and develop both print and digital content to support SMP’s Sales Force, Corporate Communications and Distribution Partners. The CS will work collaboratively with entire Marketing Department to design and create effective content to be used across all marketing platforms.
Responsibilities Create visual and written content to be used across all marketing platforms including print and digital ads, flyers, brochures, web, and corporate communications pieces Efficiently edit photos for press releases, email campaigns, social media, flyers, and other print and digital pieces Support the Web Content Manger by creating and editing content for all of SMP’s websites Assist with the creation of PowerPoint presentations Support the Sr. Manager and Director with special projects and reports as needed Assist with Social Media efforts
Requirements:3-6 years of relevant marketing experience
Must demonstrate a working knowledge Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop Superior attention to detail and organization
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to meet deadlines working independently and collaboratively
Must be have strong written communication skills
Possess strong creative abilities
Pluses include: photography experience, an understanding or passion for the automotive industry and experience in B2B Marketing
Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000-105,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and internal equity factors are also considered.
