Job Description

Working for a leading independent manufacturer, distributor and marketer of replacement parts for motor vehicles in the automotive aftermarket industry, with an increasing focus on the original equipment and service markets.

Utilize your keen management and sales abilities to improve team coverage, ensure customer satisfaction, and meet/exceed sales forecasts for your assigned region.

Responsibilities will include: Sales support; Jobber & Installer sales calls with customers outside sales people with travel involved, Train customer at all levels on features and benefits of product groups and programs. Deliver sales presentations

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Successful candidate will be results oriented, highly personable, and have knowledge of automotive technical /mechanical subjects. Presentation, leadership, motivational, organizational and oral/written communication skills will also be expected, as will the ability to travel to various locations as needed. Knowledge of MS Office Suite

Job Requirements

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION – QUALIFICIATIONS

High School graduate (or equivalent).  College degree preferred.  Experience or appropriate knowledge in automotive technical/mechanical subjects preferred but not required.  Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Valid driver’s license and ability to drive automobile at all times.  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.  Ability and willingness to incur routine travel throughout territory.  Flying as necessary. 

A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is required as well as other general computer skills.
