Marketing Services Department Mission
Provide world class marketing support to SMP sales teams and customers across multiple channels. Develop and implement external marketing programs that provide real value to our channel partners to enhance SMP market leadership.
Primary Relationships and Responsibility
The Web Content Manager (WCM) is a key member of the Marketing Services team reporting to the Sr. Marketing Services Manager, Engine Management Division and works closely with the in-house creative team and other key departments.
The WCM optimizes and publishes web content across all applicable websites – Corporate, Investor Relations, and Engine Management Division (EMD) brand sites.
SMP now offers a Flexible Work schedule of 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
Responsibilities
• Web management – hands-on responsibility for the design, development, and
maintenance of the Corporate, Investor Relations, and multiple EMD brand
websites
• Develop and maintain a scheduled update plan to ensure content is always fresh (homepage
imagery, news stories, training calendar events, etc.)
• Content creation – plan and post original, engaging branded content across all websites
• Develop clear SEO-driven copy for online publication including integrating content from
inter-department collaboration
• Familiarity with Moz or similar software to view SEO results, recognize trends, and share
insights to improve SEO strategy
• Assist with corporate ADA initiative including converting and posting compliant PDFs to
their respective websites
• Competency with Google Analytics – ability to export reports with trend analysis
• Maintain eCatalog digital assets – marketing material and support videos
• Work with 3rd-party translators to update and maintain multilingual sites
• Stay current on digital trends and innovation
