Use CAD tools to simulate, test and document new process tooling and fixtures. Create detailed specifications for new manufacturing equipment. Conduct, document and track design reviews, stack-up analysis, be familiar with DFMEA, and Cpk/Ppk/Gage R&R.
Mechanical Engineering or similar Engineering degree from a four-year college or university required, with 5-7 years Engineering experience within an automotive manufacturing environment. Machine design experience, preferably tooling, fixtures, automation and material handling. Knowledge of Robotics, Servos, vision systems and PLC's is desired.
