Analyze and action the requirements of the category of parts assigned, be familiar with product specifications and the use of the SEN process, including aspects of supplier selection, quantity, price and delivery date; while executing tasks in a supplier collaborative environment
Issue purchase orders accordingly
Follow all written SOP and WI pertinent to job function
Follow up with suppliers as necessary as to ensure time delivery, maintenance of established quality requirements while maintaining cost competitiveness
Process RTV shipments as required, in compliance with QA and AP process guidelines
Monitor various reports as required; Open Order Status Report, Horizon Reports, SBIR scorecards, supplier collaboration and development guidelines, SCM objectives, VMI Programs, as applicable
Activity participate in all departmental process improvements; systemic and procedures

Requirements:
Highly motivated Self-starter, with ability to function in fast paced team environment
Automotive background required.
5 or more years’ experience in a related field (Procurement)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Ability to multi-task with strong follow-up skills required
Attention to detail
Excellent speaking and writing skills
Excellent problems solving skills
Prior experience with JDE, SAP or an ERP system preferred.
